The main major (main program) can be selected from the end of the second semester after admission, and the degree title is awarded according to the main major.
If students choose an existing department or major within the university as their main major, they must complete at least one minor or higher from the programs listed in the Hanyang YK Intercollege curriculum.
The following Hanyang YK Intercollege major projects must be completed as common requirements depending on the choice of main major:
- - When selecting Hanyang YK Intercollege as main major: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year projects
- - When selecting existing department/major within university as main major: 1st and 4th year projects

* For students admitted to Hanyang YK Intercollege (excluding those majoring in the School of Architecture), the minimum number of credits required for the primary major is 48 credits, including at least 6 credits from 400-level major courses. Please note that courses related to Calculus, General Chemistry & Experiment, General Physics & Experiment are not counted toward the primary major credit requirement.

The graduation requirements for multiple majors (dual majors) of Hanyang YK Intercollege students are governed by the university’s general academic regulations.

Micro-major programs require 12 credits of completion regardless of course level classification. However, micro-majors cannot be applied toward the multiple-major graduation requirements of Hanyang YK Intercollege.
