Innovation Engineering & Management

Program Overview

Innovation Engineering and Management is an interdisciplinary program designed to cultivate convergent talents who deeply understand technological innovation and can translate it into tangible value creation for industry and society. By integrating an understanding of advanced science and technology with managerial insights, the program aims to foster practical competencies to analyze technology-centered challenges and proactively respond to changing organizations and markets.

In particular, the curriculum is structured to balancedly develop problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, technology commercialization capabilities, and global collaboration skills demanded by complex industrial fields. Through this, students will not only plan and develop innovative products, services, and systems based on engineering prowess but also acquire the capability to design and execute sustainable business models from a managerial perspective.

Furthermore, the Innovation Engineering and Management program places a strong emphasis on ethical responsibility and social sustainability across all technological and business activities. Students will develop leadership and teamwork skills to communicate and collaborate smoothly in a global environment, cultivating a balanced expertise ensuring that technological innovation transcends mere industrial growth to drive social value creation.

Ultimately, this program focuses on nurturing next-generation convergent leaders who can bridge the boundaries between engineering and management, strategically design and execute technological innovations, and spearhead changes in future industries and society.To design a better future society, the program investigates current global challenges and dilemmas. Students will concurrently acquire knowledge in economics, management, sociology, and law, alongside engineering solutions such as social infrastructure and next-generation technologies, all of which are essential for effectively resolving these real-world issues.
